Deb Doorn

Deb enjoys caring for people as a nurse at Iowa Health Care and specializes in lactation

support. She and her husband, Jon, have 3 grown children (Eric, Sophia, and Emma)

who are in undergraduate and medical school. Together they enjoy cooking, travelling,

hiking and gardening. They have been involved with New Life Community Church since

2014.

Deb has been blessed with a foundation for faith through her parents, grandparents and

through Christian education. Her faith and reliance on God’s sovereignty grew

dramatically during a season of loss. Her belief in salvation through Jesus and the

promises of heaven give her hope for each day.

Serving God and her neighbor has given Deb joy through volunteering in the nursery,

Summer Camp, Sunday snack service, small group leadership, the outreach ministry

and in the community beyond our church doors.

Together as people who have New Life, Deb desires that we may bear fruit in every

good work, grow in the knowledge of God, and give thanks to the one in whom we have

redemption (Colossians 1).
