Steve Buck

Steve is “virtually retired.” He has been an independent technology consultant, helping his clients utilize Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for sharing business documents between their customers and vendors. Steve and his wife, Leah, are grateful to be part of the New Life church family.

The Lord awakened Steve’s heart to believe at the tender age of 4, when a Sunday School teacher presented the gospel. At 14, the Lord made him aware that his faith was no longer his parents’ faith, but his own. At this time, the Lord also gave him a desire to play the guitar and lead others in singing worship songs.

Involvement with the worship team, small groups, and adult Sunday school has been very meaningful for Steve.

The voices of this world have become very loud and strategically placed to capture our attention. It is Steve’s desire that the people of New Life grow in their faith and display the spiritual maturity and discipline necessary to filter out the noise of this world and keep Christ central to their faith and practice.
